3 Instagram Takeovers That Wow + Inspire

Take a peek behind the lens of our about.me community.

Instagram takeovers allow us to showcase the lives and artistic talents of our community members. Today, we’re looking back on three of our favorite takeovers and featuring some of their best photos on our Instagram feed.

First off is a takeover from photographer and world traveler Graham Michael Freeman. Graham enjoys waking up early to chase the sunrise and taking landscape photographs at sunset. The images below of a breathtaking Australian sunset and a sea-kayaking trip in Tasmania are just two examples of the beauty Graham captures on his adventures. You can check out his full takeover here.

Aspiring psychologist, artist and lifestyle blogger Shayda Nematollahi took over our Instagram and gave us a taste of her vibrant life in Miami. Shayda believes in the power of a positive mindset and uses her creativity to inspire people to live out their fullest potentials. Be sure to read our full interview with Shayda here.

Last is the talented Steve Carter whose takeover beautifully captured his love of community and appreciation for meaningful spaces. Steve took us on a visual journey to an abandoned subway station, local Rochester small business and to the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge as pictured below. Don’t miss his full takeover here.
