The Double Monitor Deskie: Our Favorites

You may have noticed that we’ve been blogging and tweeting about Deskies for some time now. We’ve been asking people in our community to submit their deskies and thus show off a bit of their personality. After all, the place you work from will inevitably reveal something about you.

From the super tidy deskie to the colorful and crowded one, we’ve had a great time seeing these desks and learning more about the people behind them. Today, however, we’d like to pay homage to all of the wonderful double monitors we’ve been seeing lately (minus our header which comes from none other than one of our developers, Nathan Fitzsimmons) We hope this post inspires you to share your deskie with us via Twitter too! And who knows, you might be featured on our blog in our next round of favorites!

Jeroen den Otter deskie

A photographer, it’s no wonder that Jeroen den Otter was able to capture his deskie so beautifully. Also a writer and ambitious student, Jeroen runs his own YouTube channel with videos on the latest tech gadgets.

Patrick Dougherty deskie

A desktop support specialist in New York City, this is Patrick Dougherty‘s home deskie with some of his own photographs displayed on his monitors. When he’s not at work, Patrick enjoys hiking and bike riding.

Barry Briggs deskie on

You have to admire how tidy Barry Briggs keeps his deskie! If you look hard though, you’ll see a shot of personality in the tiny storm trooper and Darth Vader figurines he keeps at the base of his monitor.

Jonah McLachlan deskie

A UX Software Engineering major at Edinburgh Napier University, Jonah McLachlan‘s deskie is full of character including a jar of honey and a named fan. “Yes I’ve named my fan” he tells us.
