SXSW 2016 – Vote For Our Own Antonio Neves

At about.me we believe in the power of college students. That’s why we created campus.

Our Director of campus, Antonio Neves is all about helping college students excel on and off campus. He’s an award-winning journalist, author and nationally recognized college leadership speaker. A first generation college student, Antonio knows first hand that for students it’s not just about the quest for a diploma. It’s not just about getting a job. No, it’s about the journey to create life with meaning.

We invite you to help bring Antonio Neves to SXSWEdu to deliver a powerful talk that celebrates, empowers and supports college students to share their rich stories. SXSWEdu is the education focused conference at SXSW, an annual festival in Austin, Texas that showcases original music, independent films, and promising new technology.

We couldn’t be more excited to have Antonio in the running for a solo presentation on “The NEW Resume: How To Jumpstart Your Career.” Voting opened this week on the SXSW PanelPicker.

Now through September 4, you’ll have the opportunity to help us bring Antonio to SXSWEdu. Community voting accounts for 30% of the decision-making process for SXSWEdu, so it’s important that if you believe Antonio would be a great speaker next year, (and we certainly do!) go out and vote to show your support.

Here’s how to vote:

  1. Create an account with PanelPicker by signing up here.
  2. Once you’re logged in, go to our submission page here.
  3. In the upper left corner, you’ll see a “Cast Your Vote” section with a thumbs up and a thumbs down sign. Click on the thumbs up and you’re done!

I just submitted my vote and I hope you will too! On behalf of all of us at about.me, we thank you all so much for your support.
