Passport to India

Welcome to India.

This week, we’re off to India, seeing the country through the eyes of four community members: Binoyeeta (whose photo heads off this post), Girish, Divya and Zabeeh. What unites these people, along with their residency in India, is a love of travel and adventure.

India ranks top 5 for countries that most of our community lives in. With a long history with deep regional culture, India is the second most populated country on earth with its population hitting 1.2 billion in 2013 and continuing to grow. Today’s community members come from some of the most populous cities in India: Bangalore, Mumbai, and New Delhi.

Binoyeeta Das is a newly independent designer (becoming independent has been one of the best decisions of her life) with experience working for start-ups. Binoyeeta is also passionate about music and believes music and design heavily influence one another. Binoyeeta links her page in her email signature to get connected to new people.

  1. After reading their bios I feel hopeful and inspired. That if we have more people like this, we can end all wars, once and for all.

  2. We all have dreams and it’s an inspiration to read about four people reaching for theirs. We have the ability to reach our personal best if we only work for it.
