Today we again show off some interesting pages as part of the #FFaboutme series. The creators of the pages below added their about.me link into their twitter bio. Over the course of the past week, they each tweeted the hashtag #FFaboutme.
On of the pages featured this week is talented L.A. vocalist Ms.Maura. The page is for the artist known as Ms.Maura, but Maura also has a personal page and an additional page for her work as a session vocalist. Each page serves a different purpose, and is designed to be seen by a different audience.
Setting up an about.me page is incredibly easy. Maura had no trouble creating pages for a creative project, professional auditions, and a personal page. While not everyone needs more than one page, multiple pages are helpful if you appeal to different audiences, particularly in multiple languages.
Click any of the pages in this post to learn about passionate people from around the world. This week we’re including actors, technologists, and all around creatives.
Know someone with an interesting job or project ? Tweet us – we love to feature inventive ways to use your about.me page!
Making your page look fantastic doesn’t have to be hard. Sarah’s page might have been challenging to read – a background image that is both bright (in the middle) and dark (outer edges) can be tricky.
Sarah used light text on a dark bio box (and included a nice bio image!) to make the page easy to read. Limiting the number of colors also helps: all her text is white and the links are blue .
Don’t see your page here? Give it another try next week. We review them all, but we can’t always fit every great page in the blog post!
Make sure your about.me link is in the appropriate section of you twitter bio, and tweet the hashtag #FFaboutme for a chance to be selected.
