For those of us in the northern hemisphere, winter is here, which means snow, skiing and snowboarding! We have a lot of users who love winter sports and share them on their pages. We can’t wait to hit the slopes too.

Approaching 62, I suffer the usual ageism discrimintations. This particular “about.me” page, I created last month, to use in the New Year specifically to win work in one very narrow field of my overall range of competencies. Here I’m snow-shoeing off piste at about 2000m in the Pyrenees around last Jan. It’s just a photo taken by my wife who hung back to take the shot. I used it because I wanted to show that I’m still more than competent at succeding in overcoming a challenge.
