Yesterday, our co-founder Tony Conrad was in Montenegro, pleased to be participating again in the annual Spark.Me conference. Tony expressed how thrilling it was to be in the land of .ME since this is where the about.me domain originates. Montenegro, shortly after independence in 2006, applied to be assigned the Top Level Domain, .ME and was granted it in 2007 so they could then open it up for anyone in the world to obtain a .ME domain.*
Located in the southern part of the Adriatic Sea, this fairly new and rather small country (population, 600,000) boasts a great number of about.me community members with awesome pages. In honor of Tony’s recent trip there, we wanted to feature some of them. Take for example, Sanja Lazovic, (our header image) whose awesome picture shows off both her and her workplace, the .ME registry. Through their pictures, apps and links on their about.me pages we invite you to learn more about each person below and the country of Montenegro.
