Inspired by a comment suggesting we feature on some nationalities here on the blog, we determined to start featuring pages reflecting a country. It can be someone’s birth country or where they currently reside – our first stop is Iceland!
Known for its breathtaking scenery, glaciers, geothermal energy and volcanoes, Iceland has no shortage of imagery to use in background images! Above, Alexander Richter, Johannes Tryggvason and Jon Thorsteinsson take advantage of this.
More subtle, but no less inspiring, in Birgitta Jonsdottir’s page. A poet, activist and spokesperson, Birgitta is currently serving as a MP at the Icelandic parliament for The Movement. More Icelandic artists include Of Monsters and Men and Mike Tomasson.
